July 20, 2025 Market Summary | NEPSE Ends Flat with Turnover Surges to Rs. 21.46 Arba Amid Volatile Session

On July 20, 2025, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) opened in a positive direction but quickly fell to an intraday low of 2,862.17 points in the early session. However, the index rebounded sharply, fluctuating throughout the day, and reached an intraday high of 2,922.38 points. Despite the volatility, the market followed a downward trend in the final hours and closed at 2,867.76, marking a minor decline of 2.87 points or 0.09% compared to the previous trading day.

Investor sentiment remained broadly optimistic, supported by strong buying pressure, as the total daily turnover surged to NPR 21.46 Arba, a significant rise from NPR 16.59 Arba in the previous session.

(BPCL) followed with a turnover of NPR 64.27 crore, slightly declining by 1.11% to close at Rs. 959.00. Himalayan Reinsurance Limited (HRL) stood third with NPR 56.62 crore, dropping 2.38% to Rs. 997.10.
