The Iwakhola Hydroelectric Project has effectively restarted operations after being temporarily suspended due to heavy flooding in Eastern Nepal, thanks to the efforts of Ridi Power Company Limited. The 9.9 MW Iwakhola Hydroelectric Project draws water from the Iwakhola River, which runs along the boundary between the districts of Taplejung and Panchthar.
