Everest Bank to Issue Rs. 3 Arba Debentures

The agreement was signed by Everest Bank Limited’s CEO, Sudesh Khaling, and Laxmi Sunrise Capital Limited’s CEO, Bijaya Lal Shrestha, to sell debentures of Everest Bank worth 3 arba rupees. Laxmi Sunrise Capital Limited has been appointed to manage the issuance.

Everest Bank plans to issue “Everest Bank Limited Debenture 2091,” offering 30 lakh units at a rate of 1000 rupees per unit.

  • Public Offering: 40% of the debentures will be available to the general public, totaling 12,00,000 units worth 1 arba 20 crore rupees.
  • Private Placement: The remaining 60% will be sold via private placement, totaling 18,00,000 units worth 1 arba 80 crore rupees.

The debenture will pay interest at a rate of 7.5% per year on a half-yearly basis for ten years.
