Samata Gharelu Laghubitta to Acquire Manakamana Smart Laghubitta

Samata Gharelu Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SMATA) will suspend all banking services on Ashad 23, 2081,  to facilitate the smooth migration of data and integration of systems. 

AS Samata Gharelu Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SMATA) is preparing to acquire Manakamana Smart Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (MKLB), with plans to merge operations starting from Ashad 24, 2081. For the merger, a swap ratio of 1:1 has been established.

The merged company will operate under the name Samata Gharelu Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SMATA). The merger received approval from Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) on Jestha 29 and the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) on Ashad 09. Additionally, it was registered with the company registrar on  Ashad 11, 2081.
