Two broker associations operating in Nepal are going to be merged. A merger agreement will be signed on Kartik 28 (Wednesday evening) between the “Stock Broker Association of Nepal” and the “New Stock Broker Association of Nepal”.

50 Stock Brokers that have been operating since before were in the Stock Broker Association of Nepal and 40 stock brokers who came into operation later had separate broker associations known as the New Stock Broker Association of Nepal. Altogether there are around 95 listed brokers in Nepal.�

According to a director from one of the broker companies after the merger, the association will be named the “Stock Broker Association of Nepal”, and a new chairman and other officials will be elected in a general meeting.
