Jagdulla Hydropower Company Limited has strongly objected to allegations targeting Energy, Water Resources, and Irrigation Minister Deepak Khadka and the company itself concerning the bidding process for the 106 MW Jagdulla Semi-Reservoir Project.
Clarification from the Company
In a public statement, CEO Sanjay Sapkota asserted that:
- The tender evaluation process was conducted fully transparently in adherence to the Public Procurement Act and the company’s regulations.
- The bids were rejected solely due to technical disqualifications, and the minister had no role in the evaluation process.
