Clarification from the Company

In a public statement, CEO Sanjay Sapkota asserted that:

  • The tender evaluation process was conducted fully transparently in adherence to the Public Procurement Act and the company’s regulations.
  • The bids were rejected solely due to technical disqualifications, and the minister had no role in the evaluation process.

Response to Media Allegations

The company condemned certain media outlets for publishing baseless and misleading reports, stating that such actions:

  • Damage the reputation of both the company and the individuals involved.
  • Undermine public trust in transparent processes.

Jagdulla Hydropower called on journalists to:

  • Uphold professional ethics.
  • Verify facts before publishing any news.
  • Issue a retraction for false and misleading reports.

The company emphasized its commitment to integrity and transparency in all processes, urging media platforms to contribute responsibly to public discourse.
