Pure Energy Limited (PEL), a renewable energy company developing Nepal’s solar infrastructure, will open its IPO on 28th Chaitra 2081, offering 11,95,200 equity shares at a par value of Rs. 100 per share. The issue will close on 2nd Baishakh 2082, with a possible extension to 11th Baishakh 2082 if undersubscribed.

Pure Energy IPO Detailed Breakdown

The total issued capital of the company stands at Rs. 80 Crore, distributed among various stakeholders in the following manner:

  • Project-Affected Locals (Banke District): 2% (1,60,000 shares) worth Rs. 1.60 Crore – Reserved for people affected by the project.
  • General Public Offering: 18% (14,40,000 shares) worth Rs. 14.40 Crore has been reserved for the general public.
  • Nepalese Working Abroad: 10% (1,44,000 shares) has been allocated for Nepalese citizens working abroad.
  • Mutual Funds: 5% (72,000 shares) are reserved for investment funds.
  • Company Employees: 2% (28,800 shares) are reserved for the company’s staff.
  • General Public: The remaining 11,95,200 shares are allocated for the general public.

About Company

Pure Energy Ltd. runs a 20 MW solar power plant in Raniyapur, Khajura Rural Municipality, Banke. The plant has two projects:

  • Pure Energy I (10 MW) – Started operating in December 2023.
  • Pure Energy II (10 MW) – Began operations in May 2023.
