Grand Preparations Underway for NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo Starting Thursday

A major automobile event, NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo, is set to begin this Thursday at Bhrikutimandap, Exhibition Road, Kathmandu. The event is being organized for the first time by the Nepal Automobile Importers and Manufacturers Association (NAIMA).

This expo will showcase various new two-wheelers and four-wheelers, many of which will be available for sale. Over 35 new vehicle brands will be displayed under one roof, offering visitors a unique chance to explore a wide range of options.

The expo will run from Shrawan 21 to 25 (August 5 to 9, 2025), and many electric vehicles (EVs) will be launched during the event. Organizers claim that 35 new vehicle models will be launched.

According to NAIMA, the exhibition will feature more than 50 stalls, mostly related to vehicles and mobility solutions. In the four-wheeler category, BYD electric vehicles will have a strong presence, and new models from Citroën will also be launched.

Other brands such as Forthing, Great Wall Motors, Henry Voltas, and Hyundai will also unveil new cars. Interestingly, the Leapmotor EV, manufactured in China, will launch in Nepal for the first time outside of China, making it its first international market.

Visitors will also get to see new models from Mahindra, Maxus, Kaiyi, Mazda, MG, LEV1, Mitsubishi, and Nissan. Popular international brands like Omoda Jaecoo, Peugeot, Proton, Renault, Toyota, Volkswagen, and Zeekr will also be offering vehicles for sale. Additionally, two-wheelers from well-known brands like Suzuki, Mahindra, and Honda will be launched and made available for purchase.

On the two-wheeler side, the expo will include bikes and scooters from Ampere, Ather, Bajaj, Benelli, CFMoto, Gogoro, Honda, KTM, Mahindra, NIU, Revolt, Royal Enfield, Segway-Ninebot, Suzuki, Triumph, TVS, Ultraviolette, Yezdi, and Zeeho.

For the commercial segment, brands like Chery Wanda, Dongfeng, Farizon, Hozon, KAMA, Kaiyi, King Long, and Sunlong will also be present. Both new launches and older models will be displayed, offering a full view of Nepal’s growing mobility landscape.

This expo promises to be an exciting opportunity for automobile lovers and potential buyers to experience the latest innovations in mobility, all in one place.
