The IPO result of Bikash Hydropower Company Limited has been published today, Ashar 30, 2082. A total of 29,42,760 unit shares worth Rs. 29.42 crores were allocated to the 2,94,276 general public, with 10 units each distributed through a lottery system. The allotment process was conducted at the office of the issue manager, Prabhu Capital Limited, Kamaladi, Kathmandu.
Bikash Hydropower’s IPO received an overwhelming response. Although only 2,942,760 shares were allocated for the general public, a total of 2,150,672 applicants applied. Out of these, 2,056,207 verified applications through the CDSC system requested 23,655,370 units, oversubscribing the issue by 8.03 times. However, 94,465 applications were rejected during the verification process.

About Company:
Bikash Hydropower Company started in 2017 as a private company and became a public company in 2022. It is based in Kathmandu. The company runs a small hydropower plant called Upper Machha Khola in Gandaki Province, which produces about 31 GWh of electricity each year. The power is sent to the national grid through the Baseri substation. The company is led by Mr. Khagendra Neupane and works to help grow clean energy in Nepal.
