Balephi Hydropower Limited (BHL) has successfully allotted its right shares to eligible shareholders. The company issued a total of 1,82,79,700 units of right shares from 27th Mangsir to 17th Poush, 2081, with a 1:1 ratio, meaning that for every share owned, one new share was issued.
The book closure date for the rights offering was on 21st Kartik, 2081, and only those investors who were listed as shareholders before that date were eligible to apply. The right shares were allotted to 53,057 valid applicants, with a total of 1,64,81,044 shares distributed.
However, 17,98,656 shares (approximately 9.83%) remained unclaimed by eligible investors. These unclaimed shares will soon be auctioned off to the general public and institutions.
All applicants who did not receive shares have been refunded, with the money being returned to them starting from 28th Poush, 2081.
