Mountain Energy Nepal Limited (MEN) has announced a proposed 15.7895% dividend for the fiscal year 2080/81.

This decision was made during the 106th Board of Directors meeting held on Mangsir 17. The dividend will be distributed after receiving approval from the Electricity Regulatory Commission and endorsement at the company’s upcoming AGM.

The book closure date is Poush 11, 2081. Shareholders who maintained shares until this date are eligible for the dividend and can attend the AGM.

Mountain Energy Nepal Limited (MEN) is a company in Nepal focused on developing hydropower projects. It started as a private company in 2064 BS (2007 AD) with its office in Baluwatar, Kathmandu. Later, on May 3, 2071 BS (August 19, 2014), it became a public company under the Companies Act, 2063.
MEN operates the 5 MW Tadi Khola Hydroelectric Project in Nuwakot and is building the 42 MW Mistri Khola Hydroelectric Project in Myagdi. The project has an estimated cost of NPR 5,642.63 million and was planned to start operations by December 31, 2019.
