IME Life Insurance the Adjusts Dividend Distribution percentage for the fiscal year 2079/80, moving it from 34.5% to 26.3158%.
Previously, the company planned to use the paid-up capital of Rs. 13.20 Crores to propose a 9.5% cash dividend (including for tax considerations) and 25% bonus shares worth Rs. 1 Arba.
Distribution of the dividend was dependent on approval by the Nepal Insurance Authority and the upcoming 7th AGM (Annual General Meeting) of the company. The corporation has modified the dividend to 26.3158%, or Rs. 1.05 Arba, under the suggestions made by the Nepal Insurance Authority.
The dividend for the fiscal year 2079/80 was revised by the Board of Directors to 26.3158%, which includes 25% bonus shares and a 1.3158% cash dividend, during their 193rd meeting, which was held on Baishakh 21, 2081. In particular, the proposed 1.3158% cash dividend (for tax reasons) is valued at Rs. 5.26 crore, while the 25% bonus shares are valued at Rs. 1 Arba.
