On July 6, 2025, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) opened with a slight upward movement. The index hit its lowest point of the day at 2,697.92 before rising to an intraday high of 2,721.58. Despite the intra-day volatility, the market closed slightly lower at 2,706.36.

The overall market sentiment remained positive, although the total market turnover slightly declined to NPR 9.50 Arba, compared to NPR 9.64 Arba on the previous trading day.

Top Turnover Companies

Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited (NRIC) led the day in terms of turnover, with NPR 49.40 crore. Its stock price increased by 4.94%, closing at Rs. 1,311.00. It was followed by Laxmi Sunrise Bank Limited Promoter Share (LSLPO) with NPR 37.81 crore, and Himalayan Reinsurance Limited (HRL) with NPR 34.24 crore.
