On July 2, 2025, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) began with a positive trend. The market dipped slightly to the day’s lowest at 2,663.40, but maintained an overall upward movement. It reached an intraday high of 2,696.09 and closed strong at 2,694.82.

Sahas Urja Ltd. followed with a turnover of NPR 49.41 crore, and Saptakoshi Development Bank Ltd. secured the third position with a turnover of NPR 35.01 crore.

In terms of trading volume, NMB Sulav Investment Fund – 2 (NSIF2) led the market with 5,025,060 shares traded. Laxmi Sunrise Bank Ltd. Promoter Share (LSLPO) followed with 2,967,707 shares traded, closing at Rs. 100.00. Sanima Large Cap Fund (SLCF) came next, with a volume of 2,063,470 shares.
