The Public Procurement Monitoring Office (PPMO) has issued a seven-day written clarification notice to 10 different construction companies and suppliers. The clarification is related to potential blacklisting actions.
Why the Clarification Was Issued
According to the notice released today, various government entities had requested the PPMO to place these companies on the blacklist. As per the process, companies are given a chance to justify why they should not be blacklisted.
Despite being given a 30-day window earlier, no explanation was submitted by the firms. Hence, the office has now issued a final seven-day notice, asking for written clarification along with reasons and proof explaining why they should not be blacklisted.
